300 Aluminum Impact-Resistant French Door

General Specifications

General:
Door shall be designed and manufactured to meet residential
applications per Dade product approval.

Materials:
All frame and panel members shall be extruded 6063-T5 aluminum
alloy. Frame members shall have a minimum depth of 4". Panel
members shall have a minimum depth of 1-3/4".

Construction:
Frame members shall be coped at the corners and assembled with
stainless steel screws for tight union. Panel horizontal members
telescope into vertical members and are assembled with (2) 3/8"
steel tension rods, running the full width of the door, secured
at each end with nylon lock nut, washer and (4) 1/4" thick
reinforcement plates.

Hardware:
Doors shall be furnished with (3) pairs of hinges with bronze
olite bushings. Each panel will have flush bolts top and bottom.

Glazing:
Door shall be factory wet glazed with 7/16" laminated glass with
an extruded glazing bead. (Available in Clear. Obscure, Green,
Grey or Bronze Tint)

Weatherstripping:
The frame and threshold have an elastomeric woolpile weatherstripping
that provides complete weather protection. The astragal has an astragal
gap cover with a vinyl flap to cover the gap between both doors to
provide added weather protection.
